There are plenty of volunteer opportunities with Florida Boxer Rescue, Inc. All you need is a little bit of time and a whole 'lotta love for the Boxer breed!

The following volunteer positions listed below are available. If you are unable to help in the capacities listed, please consider giving a tax-deductible donation or sending supplies so that dogs less fortunate, can have a chance at adoption.

CUR RUN volunteers

We always need help transporting dogs! You must be reliable, have an insured vehicle and be able to transport a Boxer safely utilizing a crate, doggie seatbelt or vehicle barrier. We cannot reimburse for fuel or miles.

Foster Homes 

We can only help as many dogs as we have space for! Please consider opening your heart and home to a needy Boxer. If interested, please fill out an application ( it's the same one that we use for adoption ). The instructions and form are located here. Note in the "comments" section, that you would like to become a foster home for Boxers. You will be responsible for feeding and caring for the dog as if he were your own, but vet visits and medical care are paid for by FBR.

Adoption Committee

Help to process applications in your telephone calling area code. We cannot offer reimbursements for calls or travel expenses. This job requires access to a computer and there is a high volume of e-mail; you must subscribe to our group e-mail list. You must be willing to visit homes, conduct home visits and follow up visits.

Telephone operators

Person/people needed to serve as backup or relieve current operators of answering duties. Must be personable and knowledgeable about the Boxer breed. Must have access to a computer. Calls are incoming to your home or cell phone. Shift is a few hours a day. If you are away from the phone and miss a call we can retrieve the voice messages.

Fundraising/PR events

Boxer loving people needed to man our booths at fundraisers and PR events. Please fill out our adoption form and indicate what events you'd be interested in.

 Remember to indicate in the "comments" section what capacity you are willing and able to assist our efforts. Our Boxers are precious to us and anyone who will be coming in contact with one, must have an approved application on file.
