FBR almost always has a lack of foster home space, and therefore regretfully cannot serve every single Boxer dog in Florida who is displaced. We devised this page as a way for the public to be notified of additional Boxer dogs in need, but FBR does not get involved with behavior evaluations, health checks, vaccinations, etc. You, as the adopter, must understand from the family and the dog's records, what health or behavioral issues may exist. Florida Boxer Rescue, Inc. does not charge a fee to the family to list the dog here or to the adopter who "adopts" the dog. We do not advocate offering pets for free, but it is ultimately up to each individual family whether they will charge a fee to the new person acquiring the dog (it's best for the dog if he comes with a fee because it helps to weed out people who acquire unwanted pets for use in dog fighting rings or who sell to animal testing facilities, etc... ).
Though the Boxers on this page remain with their families and do not enter our rescue program, we still care very much about the dog's well being and fate. That is why we allow descriptions to be posted here, in hopes that we can help a Boxer find a better home than if the family were to just give the dog away or take him to a shelter.
You must fill out this form if interested in a dog on this page and indicate which dog you are interested in, by providing his corresponding OS#.

Tehya
Comments from human: Tehya is an approximately 18 month old Fawn female Boxer. She is located in Brooksville and would enjoy a new home without access to livestock (goats, horses, etc...). Her family reports that she is sweet and gets along with other dogs and children. She will chase cats. Please consider giving Tehya a new forever home.

Duke & Dallas
Comments from human: I (Duke) am a big, flashy gentle boy who loves to be close to you. I really guard my home and human well. I am leash and obedience trained, and housebroken. I like most other animals, except cats, and sometimes other dogs are questionable if I am walking with my master. I have lived all my life with my friend Dallas and would love to stay with her if possible. She is a bit shy and I have always protected her. We are located in the Orlando area and need a new home very soon!

Rosie
Comments from human: Rosie is losing her home due to a new baby. She is a 6 year old female white Boxer (with fawn patches) who has grown up with children and gets along with other dogs and cats as well. She is a sweet dog and even walks well on a leash. She would enjoy a new home soon and is located in Oldsmar, FL.

Coco & Canela
Information on these two dogs coming soon.
Chelsea Jane
Comments from human: Chelsea Jane is a beautiful, fun loving Boxer who is 6 yrs young. She loves to be around people and other dogs and is good with cats and kids. She is very active and enjoys playing at the beach. Her favorite toys are tug ropes and her deflated soccer ball. If you buy her a new one, it will be deflated in minutes! Chelsea needs a home with a fenced in yard, where she will get lots of attention and exercise. She cannot be crated at this time and requires a family where someone is home most of the time and is willing to help Chelsea overcome her considerable anxiety when left alone. She is located in Ft. Myers.
